Salary: £25-35K with OTE £75K

About the Role:

Due to expansion and an internal promotion, we have two vacancies for a Relationship Manager in our Direct Sales Team. It is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and highly reputable company, with the vision to work your way up through the company. The role will involve a hybrid working pattern (2 days at home, 3 in the office). A great opportunity to work for a fantastic specialist asset finance company who will support your development.

As Relationship Manager your responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Supporting and promoting the sale of excavators, plant and equipment through hire purchase and lease (B2B)

  • Negotiating finance rates and co-ordinating each stage of the customer transaction

  • A high level of telephone interaction with customers, the field-based sales team and dealer sales personnel • achieving profitability and margin objectives

  • Making outbound calls and responding to inbound enquiries

  • Developing and nurturing relationships with clients and dealer sales personnel

  • Building, managing and maintaining sales pipelines

  • Supporting the team as well as achieving individual objectives

  • Co-ordinating and taking responsibility for own workload (supervisory support available for referrals)

  • Demonstrating fairness, empathy and good practice when conducting business negotiations customers.

About You

  • If you are currently in an Asset Finance role or are currently working as a Relationship Manager this is the ideal next step in your career.

  • Skills required for the Relationship Manager role:

  • Confident, decisive

  • Excellent communicator - verbal and written

  • Good admin skills, computer literate, able to use digital technology (training provided)

  • Ability to prioritise and work professionally whilst managing multiple client demands

  • Numerate, accurate, good attention to detail
