How we are paid. We are a broker, not a lender. Depending on the facility, we may be paid a commission by the lender, a fee by you, or both. Commission varies between lenders and between products, and the amount we receive does not change the rate you pay. Where we charge a fee it is agreed with you in advance and set out in writing. We will tell you the amount and the basis of everything we are paid before you are asked to commit, and you can ask us about it at any point.
